Crayola and Lafayette College, two of Easton’s bedrock institutions, have partnered to create four custom colors to celebrate the College’s Bicentennial.
Marquis Maroon, Cur Non Royal, Golden Leopard, and Day on the Quad will be in distinct wrappers and included in a commemorative Crayola 64-pack, designed with the College’s Bicentennial logo and more information on the limited edition crayons.

“We are grateful to Crayola for joining our 200th anniversary by producing these customized Lafayette College crayons,” said President Nicole Hurd. “When it comes to color and creativity, Crayola does it best, and having this cherished Easton company by our side adds to our momentous yearlong celebration.”
“Crayola is thrilled to partner with Lafayette and create this commemorative box to celebrate the College’s Bicentennial,” said Pete Ruggiero P’20,’25, a member of Lafayette College’s Board of Trustees and Crayola president and CEO. “Our organizations have built a longstanding partnership grounded in a shared commitment to uplifting the Easton community—collaborating on impactful initiatives and creating internship opportunities for local students. Congratulations on reaching 200 years of academic excellence!”
“As a Lafayette alumna, I was excited to work on this project and create this custom box of celebratory crayons,” said Pamela Pearson ’94, director, commercialization specialization solutions at Crayola.
Available early September and through the end of the Bicentennial celebration next year, the crayons will be for sale in the College Store, online and at Bicentennial campus events.
