A frequent media source, Kincaid appeared on a South Korean morning show and in two local reports about government shutdown and Election Day results
Prof. John Kincaid was recently featured in media outlets in Asia and the Lehigh Valley in response to events in American politics.
Morning Wave in Busan, a morning radio show based in Busan, South Korea, interviewed Kincaid, Robert B. and Helen S. Meyner Professor of Government and Public Service and director of the Meyner Center for the Study of State and Local Government, on Nov. 4 about the ongoing government shutdown and its economic effects and steps that should be taken to stabilize and restore normal operations.
On Nov. 5, WFMZ-69 News quoted him in a report about the strong Democratic wins on Election Day, which he said reflected voter frustration with President Donald Trump and gridlock in Washington and Harrisburg.
Kincaid also shared similar insights about voter reaction in a Nov.9 article in The Morning Call newspaper.
