The Office of Intercultural Development at Lafayette College welcomed members of the Class of 2026 to a number of celebrations leading up to Commencement that honored the community built on campus and the unique experiences of the College’s student body.

On May 19, the community came together for a Pan-Asian Celebration for students of Asian descent. That same day, members of the LGBTQIA+ community gathered to recognize each other’s contributions to college life at Lavender Celebration. On May 21, several celebrations were held: Unidos en Celebración (welcoming members of the LatinX community), Donning of the Kente (celebrating students of African descent), and an International Celebration (for students who join Lafayette from countries outside of the United States).

Enjoy highlights from these celebrations across campus.
