ESPN Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden P’16 recently spoke on the Lafayette Sports Network about the Leopards football team and the Super Bowl, which he won in 2002 as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is the parent of tailback Deuce Gruden ’16.

“There’s a tradition here at Lafayette athletically and academically that sold us, and I’m sure it’s going to sell a lot of players in the future,” says Gruden, who spoke during the football team’s annual Maroon-White Spring Game. “…It’s a great experience in the classroom, on the football field, and I’m impressed by what I see between the lines today.”
