Phi Delta Theta fraternity has donated proceeds from the sale of its house to the College for the renovation of Skillman Library.

The $260,000 gift from Phi Delta Theta House Association will be used for a seminar room and adjoining reception area, where a plaque will recognize the fraternity’s contribution. Those using the area will be able to look down into a reading room displaying Skillman’s “Alcuin and Charlemagne” Tiffany stained glass window, which was refurbished through a $100,000 gift from Bill Lanagan ’52, a Phi Delta Theta alumnus, trustee emeritus, and a council member of the Friends of the Skillman Library.
