Michael Bobick, an ordained Presbyterian minister and pastor of Calvary Community Church in Phillipsburg, N.J., will continue his Faith Forum series 7 p.m. today in Kirby Hall of Civil Rights room 106.
Sponsored by Lafayette Christian Fellowship, the series is open to the campus community, and no prior knowledge is necessary. Future forum sessions will take place Oct. 7, 14, 21, and 28.
Faith Forum is based on the book The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. Copies are provided to participants. It addresses questions such as: Can the biographies of Jesus be trusted? Do the biographies of Jesus stand up to scrutiny? Were Jesus’ biographies reliably preserved for us? Is there credible evidence for Jesus outside his biographies? Does archaeology confirm or contradict Jesus’ biographies? Did Jesus match the identity of the Messiah? Was Jesus seen alive after his death on the cross? What does the evidence establish, and what does it mean for today?
Bobick is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S.), Westminster Theological Seminary (M.Div., D.Min.), and Drew University (M.Phil., Ph.D.). He has taught both undergraduate and graduate classes. He also enjoys teaching kickboxing at a local gym.

Lafayette Christian Fellowship also holds meetings at Interfaith Chapel, Hogg Hall, 7:30-9 p.m. each Wednesday, which include prayer, worship, a talk, and fellowship. The talks this semester focus on the 10 Commandments. Prayer meetings are held 7:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Hogg, and several Bible studies meet weekly.
