President Arthur J. Rothkopf ’55 moderated a debate between Easton’s mayoral candidates 7 p.m. Tuesday in Colton Chapel.
The candidates, Republican Phil Mitman and Democrat Dan Corpora, responded to questions posed by students. Cosponsored by the Morning Call, the League of Women Voters of Northampton County, and Lafayette’s Meyner Center for the Study of State and Local Government, the forum was taped by WFMZ-TV Channel 69 and will be telecast Saturday, Nov. 1, at 9 p.m.
A reception sponsored by the Kirby Government and Law Society followed.
Last week, Rothkopf was featured in an interview televised during broadcasts of a discussion and debate between the candidates at the studios of Lehigh Valley PBS station WLVT Channel 39.
