Frank Michael Flandorffer, visiting part-time instructor of guitar, will perform music from Bach to the Beatles with the Pennsylvania Guitar Quintet 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Williams Center for the Arts.

Flandorffer teaches all styles of guitar — Segovia method, fingerstyle, advanced jazz guitar, and improvisation/arranging. He also directs the student Guitar Ensemble. He is an extremely versatile performer with credits that include studio work for PBS and performances with Tom Jones, Sonny and Cher, Bob Hope, and the Carpenters.

Flandorffer and fellow quintet member Sean Bach recently recorded a classical guitar duet CD, Everything Old is New Again.

Also in the group are Thomas J. Mondschein, member of the Moravian College Guitar Ensemble; Heath Hitchcock, member of the faculty of Community Music School; and Michael Baer, elementary school teacher in the Reading school district.
