Student Government is hosting an open forum with the Presidential Search Committee 6-7:30 p.m. today in the Farinon Center’s Limburg Theater.

The Presidential Search Committee is made up of six Trustees, three faculty members, two alumni, and a student.

“This forum is for the entire Lafayette student body to come and voice their opinions and ask questions about our future president,” state organizers. “The committee would like to hear any ideas, comments, feedback, and concerns that the students may have with the selection process. It is important that students attend and let the trustees, faculty, and student member hear what ‘real’ Lafayette students have to say about the most important issue we have ever faced in our years at Lafayette and a decision that will impact future students. Any information that we can give them will only help them make a better decision.”

Lafayette president Arthur J. Rothkopf ’55 announced Jan. 31 that he will complete his service as president at the conclusion of the 2004-05 academic year, having served 12 years in the position. Rothkopf has led a far-reaching transformation of Lafayette since becoming president in July 1993.
