Mike McCooey, assistant professor of mathematics at Franklin and Marshall College, will speak on “Four Manifolds and their Symmetry Groups” 4:30 p.m. Monday in Pardee Hall room 217.
The free event is part of the Lafayette/Lehigh Geometry and Topology Seminar. Those attending may join McCooey for dinner after the talk.
McCooey is teaching courses in calculus and topology at Franklin and Marshall this semester. His research is in geometric topology and finite transformation groups.
