Guitarist Reed Kendall, who has headlined two sold-out shows at The Point in Bryn Mawr, will give a concert 9 p.m. Friday at Gilbert’s.
The free show is sponsored by Lafayette Activities Forum.
Although just a first-year student at the University of Richmond, Kendall already has been compared to Jack Johnson and John Mayer.
“Reed Kendall came to us as a virtual unknown and quickly proved that he is a first-rate performer and a first-rate ticket seller,” says Jesse Lundy, manager of The Point.. “We hear ‘I’m good, and can sell tix’ a lot, but Reed was one of the few who proved it.”
Kendall’s collegiate performance venues have included the University of Richmond, Princeton University, Muhlenberg University, Arcadia University, Roger Williams University, Hollins University, Lasalle University, and Drew University.
