William P. Hayes ’71 has completed his 20th year as president/CEO of Kish Bancorp, and his 10th year as its chairman of the board. Headquartered in Belleville, Pa., Kish Bancorp is a locally owned and managed diversified financial services holding company offering banking, insurance, investment management, financial planning, and travel services. It operates banks throughout Mifflin and Huntingdon counties.
Hayes has been with Kish since 1977. In addition, he recently completed a term as chairman of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association and is currently chairman of the American Bankers Association’s communications council. He is also chairman of TeamMifflinCounty, a member of the Mifflin County Industrial Development Corp. board
and of the Lewistown Rotary Club.
“There are definitely elements of the Lafayette experience present in many of (our)
initiatives,” said Hayes. “My confidence in the value of Lafayette’s educational
experience in today’s world is perhaps best expressed by the attendance of two of my children at Lafayette.”
