Sherri I. Jones has been named Lafayette’s director of alumni affairs.
The announcement was made by James W. Dicker ’85, vice president for development and college relations. Jones will start March 28.
Currently the director of alumni affairs and the annual fund at Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, Pa., Jones served in three positions in Cornell University’s Division of Alumni Relations and Development: director of special projects in the College of Veterinary Medicine, assistant director of human resources, and alumni affairs business manager.
Her experience also includes one year as associate director of the annual fund at Muhlenberg College.
Jones earned a B.S. degree in human development and family studies at Cornell and is pursuing a master of education degree in educational leadership at Lehigh University.
