His Lafayette degree is a matter of family pride for Alex Karapetian ’04. Three generations of his family have attended, and he hopes his children will, too. The College also has given him the professional edge. “The externships I was involved in and the professors and trustees I met have opened so many doors,” says Karapetian, assistant director of Armenian Assembly of America, Washington, D.C. As chair of the senior class fund drive, Karapetian helped whip up a record-breaking 90 percent participation, foreshadowing “good things to come for the Lafayette community and us as alumni,” he says.
