Brian Burke ’02, an agent for New York Life Insurance Co., forged friendships he hopes will last a lifetime while facing highs and lows with his teammates on the varsity basketball court. It was particularly intense to compete on national television in March Madness as a first-year student, “when the whole college experience can be challenging,” he says. “I played basketball all four years and have stayed in touch with the guys I played with, though they’re all over the country. It’s nice to see these relationships last. We’re planning to get together this homecoming and hope it will become a tradition.”
