Seniors Celebrate Their Final Days on Campus

Lafayette seniors will enter the final stage of senioritis next week with a series of events including a soiree with President Dan Weiss, a Luau, Kickball tournament, cocktail party and more.

Senior week wristbands are mandatory for all events unless otherwise noted and will be on sale for $50 this week in the Student Life Programs Office, room 115 Farinon Student Center.

“Through all of the obstacles and distractions that separate individuals of a particular class during their four years, senior week is a fun-filled, entertaining way to unite everyone in celebrating one common achievement—graduating,” says economics & business major Brett Warren (Gibsonia, Pa.), senior class treasurer.

The schedule is:

May 15

• 5:30-7 p.m.: Senior Soiree at President Weiss’ House
• 10 p.m.-2 a.m.: Hawaiian Luau on College Hill atCampus Pizza, Milo’s Place, & Ye Olde Sea Haag. Venues will feature drink specials to students over 21 years of age with a wristband. Campus Pizza will host a DJ with dancing, while the Sea Haag plays karaoke.

May 16

• 1 p.m.:Team sign-ins start for Kickball Tournament onMarch Field. Sign up in the Student Life Programs Office.
• 8 p.m.: Hypnotist Tom Deluca will perform in Colton Chapel. Admission is free with wristband, or $3 at the door.
• 10 p.m.: Casino Night in Marquis Dining Hall. Games include four Blackjack tables, four poker tables, one craps table, and one double roulette. Beer and wine will be served.

May 17

• 8-10 p.m.: Class of ’06 Cocktail Party inWilson Room, Pfenning Alumni Center.
• 10 p.m.: Party at MontagueRestaurant & Tavern, downtown Easton. A shuttle bus will depart from William’s Center following the cocktail party.

May 18

• 3-7 p.m.: BBQ on March Field
• 9 p.m.- Midnight: Rock & Bowl at Warren Lanes in Phillipsburg. A shuttle bus will run from Williams Center at 8:30 p.m.-1 a.m.

May 19

• 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Senior Brunch in Marquis Dining Hall.

Other senior class officers are president Andrew Kasman (Langhorne, Pa.) a government & law and anthropology and sociology double major; vice president Kathleen Fox (Perkasie, Pa.) a Marquis Scholar and economics & business and psychology double major; and secretary Amy Schwartz (Scotch Plains, N.J.) a biology major.
