Lafayette Activities Forum (LAF) is organizing a series of events, including comedy, films, and brownbag discussions, in celebration of Sex Week Monday, March 19-Friday, March 23. All events are free and open to the campus community.

“LAF is holding Sex Week in order to educate the campus community about issues that are related to sex and are often under-acknowledged, and to emphasize the importance of communication, understanding, and education in relationships of all sorts,” explains psychology major Jennifer Lutz ’07 (Seaford, N.Y.), who is co-chair of LAF’s issues and culture committee.

The issues and culture committee is responsible for planning events for the campus community regarding campus, local, and large-scale issues. It also organizes informative and exciting events about the cultural aspects of different groups.

“This is an especially important component of maintaining the kind of unity and breadth of knowledge the Lafayette community prides itself on,” says Lutz. “There are a lot of new events coming for Sex Week this year, as compared to years past, with some different approaches, and they will be very exciting.”
