Lafayette and Lehigh fans gathered for a joint pep rally to raise the energy level leading up to Saturday’s historic 150th game. Drum lines and cheerleaders jump-started the program followed by remarks from Lafayette President Alison Byerly, Lehigh Provost Patrick Farrell, and athletic directors Bruce McCutcheon and Joe Sterrett.

More than 100 fans gathered for the Friends of Football Luncheon at the Princeton Club to hear Coach Frank Tavani give a preview of the 150th meeting of Lafayette and Lehigh.

The First Women of Lafayette Dinner was held as part of the celebration of Lafayette in New York and the beginning of coeducation at the College. Trustee Jim Fisher ’77 announced a contribution of $100,000 to be used for a scholarship in the group’s name.
