After visiting 12 ports of call on the Eastern seaboard, the Hermione, a replica of the Marquis de Lafayette’s frigate, is making its way back to France.

I know that it would be vastly incorrect, but I would have been so happy to see the Hermione sailing up the Caloosahatchee River past my home here in Florida. Forget the Spanish guns and the Indian arrows as mere historical inaccuracies!
