Students and faculty from the College’s Investment Club have appeared on several broadcasts with CNBC reporter Morgan Brennan Thursday, Dec. 1. The segments were picked up by various programs across the country, including MSNMoney and the PBS Nightly Business Report.
Filmed on campus, the segments are part of a CNBC personal finance series looking at how people from different generations tend to invest. Our students are serving as the example for the millennial age group.

Brennan interviewed students about the club’s history, their investment strategies, and the lessons they have learned from the club. The segments include footage of students working through a typical investment session, archival photos, and Brennan broadcasting live from the Quad.
Starting in 1946 with $3,000, Lafayette has the oldest student-run investment club in America. Serving as an educational resource offering real world experience, the club currently manages a portfolio worth more than $560,000.
