The Marquis Players will hold informational meetings for its spring production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown noon-1 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Farinon Center Limburg Theater.

The play will be performed April 2-4. Based on Charles Schultz’ popular comic strip, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown chronicles a day in the life of Charlie Brown and his imaginative beagle, Snoopy. The musical opened at the Theatre 80 St. Marks in New York City on March 7, 1967. The production lasted 1,597 performances and spawned six touring companies between 1967-71.

The Marquis Players is a student group that produces and performs an annual musical to raise money for local charities. Last year’s production of the musical comedy Sugarraised $3,500.
