Failure is a component of entrepreneurship. Consider the Edsel. Sure, Ford failed with it in 1957, but in 1964 it scored big with its next car, the Mustang. Failure is only failure if the person or business fails to pivot.  Call it adaptation, a change, an epiphany; some moment of clarity arrives and helps propel failure into success.

Yusuf Dahl understands this lesson, personally and professionally. His TEDx video coupled with the launch of the IDEAL Blog captures how failure pivoted into success. Watch how his street smarts propelled his success in the housing market and read how that market parallels his work at IDEAL.
