Prospective students and parents are cordially invited to learn about Lafayette College academics, student life, and admissions at open houses on Monday, October 4; Thursday, November 11; and Friday, November 12.

In addition, the Division of Engineering will hold a special open house on Friday, October 1, to provide an overview of engineering programs.

Guests will experience Lafayette in scheduled events and informal sessions. Registration will be held each day from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Williams Center for the Arts. Campus tours will leave the Williams Center at 9 a.m, 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. Carol A. Rowlands, director of admissions, will conduct information sessions featuring students and faculty at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Participants are invited to attend regularly scheduled classes throughout the day. Lunch will be served in the Farinon College Center dining hall from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

On November 12 there will be additional special opportunities for students interested in the sciences. These include an information session at 9 a.m. and mini-classes, tours, and laboratory demonstrations at noon and 12:30 p.m.

At its October 1 open house the engineering division will offer specialized information. Campus tours will leave the Williams Center at 8 a.m., 8:15 a.m., 2 p.m., and 3:15 p.m. At 9 a.m., following a special welcome from Lafayette President Arthur J. Rothkopf, Michael A. Paolino, director of engineering, will give an overview of engineering programs. From 10 a.m. to noon, there will be a variety of activities in the engineering complex, including tours of laboratories and CAD facilities. At noon, prospective students will attend special classes with Lafayette professors, while parents may attend a financial aid session led by Barry W. McCarty, dean of enrollment services. Following lunch with faculty and students, Carol A. Rowlands, director of admissions, will conduct an information session on admissions.
