Douglas C. Berman, campaign chairman for Democratic Presidential candidate Bill Bradley, will speak at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 7, in the Marlo Room of the Farinon Center at Lafayette College.

The talk is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the resident assistant staff of Keefe Hall, Lafayette’s newest student residence, and The Lafayette, the College’s student newspaper.

Berman has more than two decades of experience in public policy, the law, business management, and politics. He managed Bradley’s 1984 reelection campaign, and served as deputy campaign manager for Bradley’s successful Senate bid in 1978. Berman also managed Jim Florio’s successful bid for Governor of New Jersey in 1989, and served as treasurer for the State of New Jersey from 1990-1992. Most recently, Berman has been President of Campaign for America, a national organization working for federal campaign finance reform, and the founder and President of Airport Satellite Parking, L.L.C. Berman is a graduate of Yale College with a law degree from Columbia University.
