Susan A. Basow, Lafayette’s Charles A. Dana Professor of Psychology, recently had a paper published in a journal, appeared on a television program, and presented a talk at a university.

Basow’s article, “Best and worst professors: Gender patterns in students’ choices,” was published in Sex Roles last year. An interview she gave for CityTV of Toronto, Ontario for a “SexTV” program on body hair aired March 3, 2001. She also gave talks on “Gender and Student Evaluations” at the University of Maine on April 20. Basow was invited by the Office of Equal Opportunity to lead separate workshops for senior administrators, women faculty, and faculty and staff.
