Together Everyone Achieves More, or TEAM, a consortium of peer education groups at Lafayette, is looking for students who would be interested in helping to create a healthier and more civil campus culture focused on learning and growth of the whole person through peer education.

Faculty members are invited to send the names of two or three students (other than seniors) whom they think are good listeners, articulate, thoughtful, and committed to creating a more livable Lafayette for themselves and their peers. The information should be sent to TEAM coordinator Cindy Adams at adamsc@lafayette.edu by Friday, April 20.

TEAM members receive training in various topics and then develop awareness weeks, events, and other programs on topics such as alcohol, drugs, sexual assault, healthy sexuality, stress management, nutrition, and body image. The groups that belong to TEAM are LEAD (Lafayette Education on Alcohol and Drugs), Played Out (Peer Theater program), CORRE (Coalition on Rape and Relationship Education), QuEST (Questioning Everyone’s Sexual Stereotypes), HAPEN (HIV/AIDS Prevention and Education Now), and BASIC (Body Acceptance and Self Image on Campus).
