Lafayette is a winner of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) 2001 Circle of Excellence in Educational Fund-raising Award, which honors superior fund-raising programs across the country.

Lafayette was one of 43 colleges and universities honored out of the 448 considered. It was selected for a performance award based on judges’ analysis of data submitted to the Council for Aid to Education’s annual Voluntary Support of Aid to Education survey. Judges come from the ranks of senior development professionals and CASE volunteers. Colleges and universities are judged blindly, with names of the institutions hidden until winners are selected.

Winners will be acknowledged at the Philanthropy Commission luncheon on July 2 during CASE’s International Assembly in San Francisco, Calif.
