The Board of Trustees has approved the use of Spectrum Administrators to administer the Lafayette College Self-Insured PPO Plan, effective July 1, 2001. Nothing about the PPO plan design will change.

Open enrollment will take place from May 22, 2001 to June 4, 2001. Enrollment materials will be mailed home and network informational packets and provider directories will be distributed at the meetings listed below (all meetings will be held in the Limburg Theater except as noted):

Tuesday, May 22, 3 p.m. — Actives
Thursday, May 24, 12:30 p.m. — Retirees
Wednesday, May 30, 9 a.m. — Retirees
Wednesday, May 30, 12 p.m. — Actives
Wednesday, May 30, 3 p.m. — Retirees
Thursday, May 31, 3 p.m. — Actives (Kirby room 104)

As will be explained further during the informational meetings, the PPO plan will now use a group of local and national networks rather than the Premier Blue Network now in place. Everyone is asked to attend one of these meetings. Directories will be mailed to those unable to attend. Everyone wishing to enroll in the Lafayette College PPO Plan (whether as a new member or continuing as a current member) must complete the open enrollment form and return it to the Office of Human Resources by June 4, 2001.
