Kate Wick, currently campus chapter coordinator at Habitat for Humanity International in Americus, Ga., has been hired as an intern with the Landis Community Outreach Center.

Wick replaces Kathleen Houser. Her first day on the job will be Aug. 6.

Wick has held her current position since August 2000, maintaining contact with 140 campus chapters in two regions. She has trained chapters in areas such as fundraising, education, leadership transition, and house sponsorship. Before that job, she was project director for South Hampton Roads Habitat for Humanity in Norfolk, Va.

Wick graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Wesleyan College with a dual degree in management/business/economics and German. She was listed in Who’s Who Among American College and University Students in 1999 and 2000.
