An art reception and poetry reading on Friday, Sept. 7 will inaugurate programming for the 2001-2002 school year at the Williams Visual Arts Building, 243 North 3rd Street.

The Richard A. and Rissa W. Grossman Gallery will host a reception for the exhibition of Richard Polsky’s art from 5-7 p.m. Following the reception, Jen Bryant will share selections from her work at 7:30 p.m. in the first of a series of readings organized by the Riverside Reading Series. There will be musical interludes by Don Skelly, and an open mic will follow. A $3 donation is suggested.
