Susan A. Basow, Charles A. Dana Professor of Psychology, recently served as a workshop leader and a panelist at the annual meeting of the American Psychological Association in San Francisco, Calif., Aug. 23-26.

Basow was facilitator for a continuing education workshop, “Teaching the Psychology of Women: Continuity & Change.” She also was a panelist for a conversation hour, “Women in Academe: Strategies for Success.”

Basow’s teaching areas include abnormal psychology, psychology of gender, and counseling psychology. Her research interests include clinical psychology, social psychology, gender issues, and women’s studies.
