Lafayette Campus News (www.lafayette.edu), September 6, 2001 — For the second consecutive year, the International Students Association (ISA) women’s team won the fall relays, the opening event of the intramural season, on Monday, Sept. 3. Alpha Gamma Delta (AGD) sorority took second place, with AGD Chicks & AGD Army in third.

In the men’s division, Phi Psi fraternity took first place, followed by Theta Chi and ISA men.

The ISA women’s team was comprised of Ka-Yi Lo ’02, Claudia Meulenberg ’02, Shivani Malhotra ’03, and Soumya Chandramouli ’02. The Phi Psi team included Bill Faust ’02, Mike Baldoni ’02, Blaine Williams ’02, and Kharl Philip Newlander ’03.

The event involves elementary school favorites such as the three-legged race, hula hoop relay, and wheelbarrow race.

Following the event, the point totals for the women in the battle for the McGaughey Trophy were as follows: AGD, 50; ISA, 30; and Alpha Phi, DG, Kappa, Soles, and Watson, 25.

The point totals for the men were: Phi Psi, 55; Theta Chi, 50; ISA, 47; and Fiji, Showtime, KDR, DKE, Chi Phi, Watson, Farber, and Keefe, 25.
