The Alpha Omega Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity at Lafayette will hold a car wash 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, to raise money for the American Red Cross. It will take place in front of the Theta Chi chapter house, 225 Reeder Street (two blocks past WaWa, directly in front of McKelvy House).

The fraternity is asking for $5 per car, but donations of any amount will be accepted. All proceeds will be given to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Those interested in volunteering for the event should email Brian Quigley, philanthropy chairman, at brian@penpen.com.

Theta Chi, a national men’s fraternity established in 1856, has 136 active chapters across the United States and Canada. The Alpha Omega Chapter at Lafayette College was founded in 1930. The American Red Cross has been the national philanthropic organization of Theta Chi Fraternity since 1998.
