Tim Wierman, president of Nutrition Education Services, will give a presentation on “Eat to Compete” 7-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, in Colton Chapel.

The talk is free and open to the public. A question-and-answer period will be included.

Wierman is a nationally recognized speaker and published sports nutrition author. He will talk about “fuel” for the athlete, pre-competition meal planning, recovery foods and refueling the muscles, and the effects of drugs and alcohol

Nutrition Education Services specializes in the development of sports nutrition education programs, services, and products for athletes, coaches, and health and sports medicine professionals.
