With more than 20 years experience in waste and wastewater treatment methodologies and enterprise software sales, John Meeks '65 became vice president of sales with Environmental Support Solutions (Environ.com), Tempe, Ariz., in May. The company is a provider of environmental management and regulatory compliance software.
Meeks, previously vice president of sales with EHSManager.com, will be responsible for further developing Environ.com's direct sales efforts and building corporate account and enterprise sales strategies.
Meeks' experience in environmental industry senior sales management includes 15 years with Waste Management, Inc. and Safety-Kleen Corp. He was later vice president of sales with NeoSafety.com, an environmental health and safety web-based company, leading the firm to venture capital and acquisition opportunities. In 1996, Mobil Oil Corp. named him National Account Manager of the Decade.
A biology graduate, Meeks earned an M.B.A. from Temple University.
