Amy S. Van Epps ’91 will talk about “Engineering Students and Information Strategies” noon Friday, Nov. 2, in Skillman Library room 217.

The event is free and open to the public.

Van Epps is an assistant engineering librarian and assistant professor of library science at Purdue University. She will talk about information skills needed by engineers and the work she is doing with engineering undergraduates. She will also share some reflections on her undergraduate experience at Lafayette from her perspective as a librarian.

After graduating from Lafayette, Van Epps earned a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MSLS from Catholic University of America.
