The Chorduroys, Lafayette’s male a cappella group, will debut new songs at a concert 9 p.m. tomorrow in Gilbert’s.

The group will hold its final campus concert the semester Friday, Dec. 7, in the Farinon Center atrium. The show will include a guest performance by the PennyLoafers, an a cappella group from the University of Pennsylvania.

The Chorduroys also are taking a road trip to perform in Boston this weekend. The singers will be hitting the studio near the end of the semester to record material for their second album, which is scheduled for release by the end of the school year. The album will contain new material since the release of the first CD.

The Chorduroys will host the Mid-Atlantic Semifinals of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella Saturday, March 9, in Colton Chapel. Six college groups from the area will compete to advance to the finals in New York.

The Chorduroys are comprised of the following students: Joe Benoit ’04, Josh Brodsky ’03, Creighton Conner ’04, Jeremy Deaner ’04, Mike Koumaras ’03, Jeremy Lucas ’03, Rob McEwen ’05, Dan Miller ’03, Dave Mitchell ’05, Jason Salisbury ’04, Chris Secules ’02, Andrew Segan ’05, and Simon White ’02.
