Hillel Society invites the campus community to attend the following events:

7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8: Barbie Zelizer, professor and dean of undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School for Communications, will speak on “Holocaust Memory in the Camera’s Eye” in Kirby Hall of Civil Rights room 104. 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9: Sabbath services, led by Rabbi Martin Rosenberg, will be held at Interfaith Chapel, Hogg Hall

5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9: Sabbath dinner will feature turkey at the Hillel house, 524 Clinton Terrace.

Temple Covenant of Peace and Bnai Abraham Synagogue in Easton will be holding talks by Dr. David H Aaron as part of Scholar-in-Residence Weekend. Aaron, professor of Bible and history of interpretation at Hebrew Union College, has been called “one of the most original and exciting scholars in the field of Bible studies and the history of Bible interpretations.” More information will be provided during Sabbath dinner on Friday night, and transportation will be available. The talks are free:
