Students can take an intensive Italian language course in Rome, Italy, from May 24-July 6 next year. No prior knowledge of Italian is necessary.

The study abroad program gives credit for two full Lafayette courses at the Dante Alighieri Italian Center in the heart of Rome. Students can study beginning, intermediate, or advanced Italian for six weeks.

Spaces are limited; demand significantly exceeded supply last year.

For more information, contact George M. Rosa, associate professor and assistant head of foreign languages and literatures, at x5261 or rosag@lafayette.edu. If you think that you might want to participate, email your name, campus and home mailing addresses and phone numbers, and a brief description of how much Italian you have studied in the past. (If you have not previously studied Italian, state that you are a beginner.) Interested students will receive a brochure fully describing the program.
