Jon Grabowski ’02, a civil and environmental engineering major from West Orange, N.J., will talk about “The Online Craze: The Future of Music and Why You Should Never Buy a CD again” noon-1 p.m. today in Alumni Hall of Engineering room 241.

Lunch will be provided at this presentation of Grabowski’s independent study.

This summer, Grabowski interned with Omland Engineering Associates, Inc. in Cedar Knolls, N.J. The company often deals with his family’s business, Grabowski Construction, for whom the student had worked in the field the previous two summers.

Grabowski recorded 12 goals and seven assists as a member of the 2000-01 Lafayette ice hockey club team, which won the Delaware Valley College Hockey Conference championship. Through the first 16 games this season, the defenseman recorded six goals and 10 assists.

He is also a member of Chi Phi fraternity.
