A paper coauthored by Bernard Fried, professor emeritus of biology, and two Lafayette graduates recently was published in the Journal of Helminthology. The paper is entitled “Effects of a 100 metacercarial cyst inoculum on the host-parasite relationship of Echinostoma caproni and ICR mice.”

Fried’s coauthors were Caroline Balfour ’00, who graduated cum laude with a dual degree in art and B.S. biology, and Melissa Rossi ’00, who graduated with a B.S. biology degree. “They are both doing work in the private sector that relates in part to their biology background at the college,” notes Fried.
