Financial assistance and clothing are being accepted for Don Brinker, a mechanical trades worker with Plant Operations, his wife, and their twin 10-year-old sons, who lost their home in an explosion last night. The family was not physically harmed in the incident, but all possessions were destroyed.

Monetary donations, both cash and checks, are being accepted at the cashier’s window of the controller’s office on the second floor of Markle Hall. Checks should be made out to Lafayette College, with a note in the memo field that the donation is to benefit the Brinker family.

In addition, Matt Bayly, head athletic trainer, is leading a clothing drive. Donations of clothing in good condition, particularly cold weather gear, are sought. They can be dropped off at Mack Lounge in Kirby Sports Center.
