Charlie Mosler will return to Lafayette for a poetry reading 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the Williams Visual Arts Building.

Live music and an open mic will follow the reading. A $3 donation is suggested.

Mosler graduated from Brown University and has been a New Jersey resident for most of his life. He is a performing poet who has worked on a variety of music and poetry projects with musicians such as Johnny Charles, Nancy and Spencer Reed, Tom Whaley, Honi Gordon, and Brian Van Korn.

Mosler’s poems have appeared in journals such as LIPS, Paterson Literary Review, Between Two Rivers, The Aquarian Weekly, Black Swan Review, and Footwork. He has read at a variety of venues, including Lafayette, East Stroudsburg University, Lehigh University, Painted Bride Art Center, New York Public Library, and many other locations.

The event is part of the Riverside Reading Series. Upcoming Friday readings will be held at the Williams Visual Arts Building March 1, April 5, May 3, and June 7.
