Hillel Society will kick off its spring semester schedule with a Sabbath dinner 5:30 p.m. Friday at Hillel House, 524 Clinton Terrace. Deli food will be served.

The first bagel brunch of the semester will be held noon Sunday, Feb. 10 at Hillel House. Sabbath services will resume next week.

Hillel also encourages attendance at two upcoming lectures. Ilan Peleg, Charles A. Dana Professor of Government and Law, will speak on “The History of the Middle East Conflict and the Search for Peace” 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the Farinon Center Limburg Theater. Robert Weiner, Thomas Roy and Lura Forrest Jones Professor of History and Hillel adviser, will speak on “Doing Oral History: The Jews of France” 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Skillman Library. Refreshments will be provided.
