Toll Brothers, Inc., the nation's leading builder of luxury homes, has promoted Barry A. Depew '79 to senior vice president.

Depew, 45, joined the Company in 1983 and today oversees homebuilding operations in Texas, Delaware and a significant portion of Pennsylvania. He led Toll's entry into Texas, which now includes communities in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio. In addition, he oversees Toll's Internet technology and networking group as well as its growing e-commerce activities. He graduated from Lafayette with a B.S. in mechanical engineering in 1979 and from Drexel University with an MBA in finance in 1983.

Robert I. Toll, chairman and chief executive officer, said in a press release that Depew has played a critical role in the success of the Company and its growth for more than a decade.

Zvi Barzilay, president and chief operating officer, added that Depew not only manages a significant homebuilding portfolio, but in the Toll Brothers business model, he also has significant operational responsibilities in other areas such as technology and marketing, which has prepared him to lead the company into the future.

Toll Brothers, Inc. began business in 1967 and today serves move-up, empty-nester and active-adult home buyers in 21 states.
