An attorney with Cozen O’Connor, Jeffrey A. Leonard ’82 has been appointed to the board of the Penjerdel Council. A business advocacy group founded almost 40 years ago, the council draws upon private sector leadership, public officials, the academic community, and individual citizens to solve problems affecting southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and northern Delaware.

Leonard chairs the real estate department at Cozen O’Connor, which has more than 440 attorneys practicing in 17 offices in the United States and London. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia bar associations.

A government and law graduate, Leonard enthusiastically recalls classes with Professor Jim Lennertz. “Professor Lennertz provided my first introduction to how lawyers think. He taught using the Socratic method,” says Leonard. “Lafayette Charlie Naselsky ’82, recently joined our department. I was also happy to learn that the president of Penjerdel Council, Collin McNeil ’73, is a fellow alumnus.”

Leonard received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
