President and owner of Saratoga Benefit Services, LLC, Moorestown, N.J., Amy R. Webb ’83 has been elected president of South Jersey Association of Health Underwriters. She is the first woman to head the professional association of individual brokers and insurance representatives who focus on trends in the group insurance marketplace.

“I’ve been a board member and vice president for the last few years, and I’ve been in the employee benefits field since graduating from Lafayette,” says Webb, a registered health underwriter and economics and business graduate. “I got into the field because of a campus interview with Aetna U.S. Health Care.”

Webb worked first for Aetna, then as a consultant before opening her own business in 1998. “Last year we moved into office space, and we now have four employees. Our current clients have anywhere from 10 to 1,000 employees.”

Webb serves on the board of trustees of Burlington County College.
