A pre-game Block pARTy will start 11:30 a.m. tomorrow, wrapping up at the 1 p.m. kickoff of the Leopards' Patriot League football opener against Towson.

Activities will take place in the 600 block of Monroe Street, between McCartney and Hamilton Streets, right next to Kirby Sports Center and Fisher Field.

The event will include live music on two stages by Jazz Ensemble member Chris Michaud '03, Tiesu Strings, Chorduroys, Lafayette Pep Band, Cadence, and J. Larry (Stockton) and the DrumHeads; dance performances by Hispanic Society of Lafayette and Lafayette Dancers; Keppel the Magician; a participatory Graffiti Wall, which will be exhibited next week in the Williams Center for the Arts lobby; student art displays; free raffles of art and sports paraphernalia; and an arts information table.

In addition, $5 lunch coupons for Quadrant Coffeehouse will be given to students with Lafayette ID.

Block pARTy sponsors are Lafayette Alumni Association, Lafayette College Arts Society, Sports Marketing Club, Office of Recreation Services, and Office of Residence Life.
