Activists against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank will give a presentation, “The Controversy of West Bank through the Eyes of Peace Activists,” 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Oechsle Hall auditorium.

Free and open to the public, the event is sponsored by International Students Association and the International Affairs Club. In addition to talks, a short movie will be shown.

The speakers will include longtime Palestine activist Bilal Elamin, who was born in Lebanon, grew up in the Gulf (Saudi Arabia and Bahrain), and moved to the United States to attend college. He earned a master’s in contemporary Arab studies from Georgetown University. He is editor of Left Turn magazine and a member of the Palestine Activist Forum in New York.

A member of Jews Against the Occupation, speaker Nirit Ben-Ari has been a soldier in the Israeli army. She is a graduate student in political science at the City University of New York.
