Peter J. Donovick ’61, professor of psychology at Binghamton University, will define neuropsychology, explain the field’s origins, and discuss its future 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in Oechsle Hall room 224.

Donovick says his lecture, “Human Neuropsychology: From the Clinic to the Laboratory,” will address the science of brain behavior relationships in humans and the clinical applications of neuropsychology.

A licensed psychologist, Donovick is director of Binghamton University’s Environmental Neuropsychology Laboratory and serves as consulting neuropsychologist to Elmira Correctional Facility and the Central New York Psychiatric Center. He has published more than 125 professional papers and book chapters dealing with neuropathological conditions and has presented approximately 275 papers dealing with topics in the same field of study.

A psychology graduate, Donovick attained a master’s and Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin. He is a member of American Psychological Association, American Psychological Society, and National Academy of Neuropsychology.
